Day 39

Wednesday: 26/5/2010

Today was a busy day I did many different things, first i attend the meeting with the excellence team, the meeting was about explaining for the team what they should do when the evaluators of the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence in Government Performance coming for their assessing visit, and who is the first team that will be assisted by them. Then my supervisor asked them to take the dividers that I had created them to organize their files and include the evidence to support the excellence document to show the evaluators for the award. After the meeting, Miss, Abeer asked me to go to the nearest bookstore to buy a plastic dividers for the files, after I come back she asked me to organize the Human Resources file, after i finish organizing the files I went to the other team members to ask them if they had finished their files. Also, today i went to Mr.khalfan to ask him about the organization chart of his department during my waiting time at his office Mr. khalfan take to me about his education experience at HCT and when he got his bachelor and master degree and he encourage me to complete my bachelor study. Moreover, also I organized some files for the other team members.

Tuesday: 25/5/2010

Today I present a presentation for the head section with Mr.Ali he is a member of the excellence team ,this presentation was about the field visit of the evaluators. We took the whole day for the presentation .

Day 37

Monday: 24/5/2010

Today our supervisor allow us to make this day for interviewers. We had three interviews but we just did two interview because the other interviewer was absent and she apologized of attending the interview for today, the first interview was with Mr. Khalfan Alswidi he is a chief at the inspection department, the meeting was interesting and he give us some interested tips. The second interview was with Mr. Saif Alshihi he is the directer manager of the Emirates post training center, he was very flexible with us and he give us very interesting information about him, I really enjoyed doing the interview with Mr. khalfan and Mr. Saif.

Day 36

Sunday: 23/5/2010

Today I didn't have many tasks, first I start organizing my files on the laptop because this my last week at work, then I attend an interview with my colleague at the work, it was with the Director of Construction and Maintenance it was very interesting meeting and she was very corroborating with us during the interview it took around 50 minuets. After that my supervisor asked me to go to the printer room to make 15 copy of the excellence document to deliver it to the other departments manager at the emirates post. That was my day...

Day 35

Thursday : 20/5/2010

Today was the positive of yesterday, it was very busy day I had many things to do, first I had to create a presentations for the excellence team to presented during their visit on Sunday to the other branches of Emirates post , the presentation was about explaining the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence in Government Performance, Also i had to create a meeting and attending schedule for the excellence team, after that as an excellence team we had a meeting with the direct manager to introduce the team members for him because he is new also, to give the team members a honer certificate for enjoying the team and working so hard to finish the excellence documents. furthermore, after this meeting I had to send email for the excellence team which is an instruction email to prepare them for the visiting on Sunday, the email was including the presentation and the schedules.

Day 34

Wednesday: 19/5/2010

Today I had a few tasks to do, first i was looking at the newspapers for articles related to the excellence any articles, then I sent email's for the excellence team inform them that the meeting was delayed for some other day. Moreover, the supervise asked me to call all the excellence team member to insure if they were stick with the same visiting plan that they planed few weeks ago, so I called each one of them and I asked them, and that was my day.
